TV - the greatest invention ever

talk about the world's greatest invention...

many would say.. the light bulb, brilliantly invented by thomas edison.

on the contrary, i would say.. the TV is the greatest invention ever. haha.

yah la, i know im very slow.. like it is in my 20th year then i realised that salmon sashimi tasted so nice.. and that cockles are also a form of delicacy.. when ppl ard me have been enjoying that for God knows how long and urging me to try them..

i never understood why ppl could be so attracted to the black rectangular box that sits in the living room, ok, maybe some ppl have it silver and flat.. but the point is..

they must watch and follow up with whatever show they are watching.. miss one episode also cannot..

if miss must record...

if forget to set timer/no one at home/no tapes must call fren to record...

if record le must watch then can continue with the other episodes...

hence resulting in more recorded tapes stacking up...

some even have to resort to labelling then tapes using post it.. updating the contents and stuff...

and i was just told recently by a very technology savvy being that she is able to set timer in the recorded for up to one week! coz it's a DVD recorder. my goodness..

so tell me.. where does the light buld stand?

does it command such power? haha..

such power.. i am actually having it a taste of it now.. haha.. albeit mildly..

i am not at the stage of recording shows yet, not at the stage of die die must watch then can continue coz missing one or two episodes do not bother me all that much..

but i must watch TV.

why? i also donno.

TV is The Vault.. u find treasures in abundance in there.. i recently confirmed my addiction by not being able to sleep at night because there is this nagging feeling at the back of mind.. like there is something that i havent done.. then i would go like..

"ah~ it's the TV. i must go and watch some.."

so for abt 3 nights in a row, i have been switching on the TV when everyone is asleep and watching it till my craving is satisfied. with absolutely no shows in my mind to watch but just switching it on anyway..

and i realised that the TV alone is not enough, u must have cable! wooh~ the many nice programs it offers .. urgh, no wonder ppl can watch shows after shows mann.

mann~ i want a TV in my room. haha. ah~ 15th dec is round the corner. ; )

well, i've got the bug. it is confirmed by another being who got the bug too.. a certain ms E. she's got it for many years but she is surviving.. well..

now ive got it too.. i lurrrveeeee it!
HAHAHAHAHAHA...

the VCD and tape syndromes havent hit me yet.. but feeling tells me that... they would.

oh yah, did i mention that animes are nice too? i am slow.. haha.
